Keep your account secure: What you can do now to help fight fraud

- You’re not the only one protecting your account. If we spot an issue, we want to get in touch with you the quickest way possible.
- Provide your mobile number so we can alert you to potential fraud
- Create a strong unique password
- Strong passwords are 8 or more characters long and include a combination of numbers, symbols and upper- and lowercase letters
- Use multifactor authentication when possible
- Protect your devices
- Keep your phone, tablet and computer up to date with the latest browser, operating system and antivirus software
- Keep your account information secure
- Go paperless
- Never write your PIN on the back of your card
- Use trusted online payment methods, such as Bill Pay or Zelle ® instead of writing checks
- Know the red flags that signal a scam
- Scammers pressure people to send money, threaten law enforcement action or demand gift cards as a form of payment
- Visit the Security Center for more scam tips – Remember, if you provide your information or send money to a scammer, there is often little we can do to help get your money back
